This piece started with a simple challenge: remix the familiar into something unsettling. I pulled source material from retro horror icons and vintage PSA aesthetics, layering them into a composition that feels like static—glitchy, loud, and a little bit off.
This gritty, surrealist commentary on fear, nostalgia, and the violence baked into American media is portrayed through a lens of horror and humor; camp and chaos. Its a love letter to the genre but it’s something more.
Inspired by late-night cable chaos, warped childhood memories, and the art of provocation, this digital collage invites viewers to confront the absurdity of moral panic—and maybe laugh a little while doing it.
